Tell us a horse joke!

What did one horse say to the other?

The pace is familiar, but I can’t remember the mane.

What do you do when you aren’t with your horse?

I work full time for my husbands thoroughbred breaking business, so minutes with out horse company are few and far between. Though, I do enjoy go0d food, good wine and good company after a long day!

What do you love about the horsey community?

Being able to make great friends who share your interest and passion. No matter where you are in the world, you are you can find a job and friends in the industry. I am lucky that it has allowed me to work and event in Australia whilst making many friends along the way.

What do you dislike about the horsey community?

People who put you down, when you are just out to do your best and have fun!

Do your family share your passion of horses?

Mum and Dad both grew up with horses.

Mum used to event and compete on the working hunter circuit.

Dad point to pointed and team chased when he was younger. He still hunts on his off the track tb ‘Jimmy’ and does a few hunt races.

My extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins all hunt and event. A real family affair.

Being legged straight over the top of a horse by my father in one of my first point to point rides. Mortifying.

How many times have you fallen off?

Too many times, but I’ve heard it doesn’t count if you shout stepping off before hitting the ground?!

What horsey product can’t you live without?

Fly spray. The summers in Australia can be rather brutal and the flys make riding very unpleasant for both horse and rider.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself!

I live in Australia and cant handle snakes. There is one currently living in my chicken house. Its really stressing me out.
