Kentucky Horsewear Summer Sheet RRP £146
How stunning does this rug look! This has been on my wish list for quite some time now, so I had to take the plunge and get it. I have only used this for travelling and at shows at the moment, but when the time comes it will also be used for the stable too.
The quilted pattern is completely gorgeous and is great if you like matching Rugs and other stable items, as you can get a whole Range to match!
Available in Black and Navy, the Brown Leatherwork makes the rug like no other and give it more of a distinctive look.
But let’s not forget the sheepskin type on the withers, this is very soft, and give ultimate protection on the horse to prevent the rug from rubbing the horse, this washes up really well.
Now don’t get me wrong, I would say it is a lot of money just for a summer sheet, but what summer sheet do you know of that has the top end style and elegance of this! It is worth every penny even if you do just use it for travelling and shows. It fits greats, it does sit slightly higher than a normal rug, so if your horse is stocky/chunky I would suggest to go up a size. I have a WB xTB and did not need to go up a size.
But fear not if you do use it in the stable too, the shavings or straw does not stick to it! Yes of course Bailey decided to Roll as soon as it went on, because he wouldn’t be him if he didn’t try to harm any new items around him!
