I rode in my Tech Stirrups Athena Showjumping Stirrups for the first time yesterday.
The grip and the angled plate on them keeps your foot in a correct and comfortable position. They are made from Titanium and incredibily light. They are also available in a range of colours with matching Tech Stirrups Spurs.
My horse threw in a couple of nasty stops during training, thankfully the tech stirrups stopped my feet from sliding through, keeping me balanced and able to sit to the naughtiness.
They are light to handle, the only slight downside is that the plates are quite scratchy and can leave marks on your saddle if stored without stirrup socks.
