I bought this girth for Cabriolo – my baby showjumper. I loved the fact that it is anatomically shaped so that it doesn’t dig in behind his elbows, but also the clip for martingales or loops is a godsend. There is no more remembering to loop it over the girth when I’ve already done it up for me!
Kentucky don’t use ‘real’ leather and sheepskin for their products, which is fine with me, because the quality of the materials is outstanding. It looks like leather, but a quick wipe down and its clean and ready to go. No more soap and oil. Life saver!
I also love that the faux sheep is Velcro, so you can peel it off, pop it in the wash and comes out as good as new. It doesn’t clump like traditional sheepskin linings do when washed.
I wash mine on the wool setting on the machine and its clean and is always dry by the morning which is brilliant for show days!
